I'm so excited about this "Director's Cut" edition. I just hope it's DLC. I'm really not wanting to hash out 50+ something dollars for another version of the game. I just managed to buy the PC port. :[ I know, regardless, I'd end up buying it, because Capcom owns my soul, and I've been wanting the Jill scenario so badly. I just really hope we get to play as her when she's still in her cloak. I love that outfit so much and controlling her in it would be so neat!

I wouldn't really like to control her wearing the cloak... I really hope they work hard making chapters with her... til she meets Josh...
You know... killing ganado/zombies with the cloak wouldn't make things easier... because it would be unconfortable.

I would love to play as her, but i would ask Capcom to make the scenario have sense. We all know she deserves a special scenario...

One thing I would love to watch, is more background about how she recovered from that fall.. or how Wesker, somehow, saved her from it... you might thing there's not so much to explain, but there's actually a lot.

I wouldn't mind a chapter with her BSAA awesomeness outfit either ^^

If Ada can fight off hordes of Ganados in her fancy little dress, then Jill can fight Majini in her cloak. :p My personal preference would be for the first half of the scenario to take place while she's still under the P30's control, then second half after she's rescued by Sheva and Jill. Of course, I'll take anything, and I won't be peeved if it's just post-P30 stuff, but I'd love some insight to her relationships with Excella and Irving while still under mind control.

Jill's cloak was just so cool. ;_; I loved the mask and the hood and everything.

With Agent Wong and me, that makes 3 eternally enslaved souls for Capgod to toy with.

A Jill & Josh scenario, teaming up to find a chopper and help Jill & Sheva would make the most sense, however I don't see how they could possibly make this trip "awesome".
Of course there's always the possibility of an expanded playable flashback in Spencer's estate... but you know they won't do that.

That gap between 5-3 and 6-1 annoys me as well and I hope they will set it right somehow. 5-4 DLC anyone ?

If it is some kind of DLC it will be for the consoles versions... I doubt PC ver. get anything of it for the time being.

I hope so too, doomed! I only own the PC version (which i'm still trying to get a good graphic card to run it).
So... it would be very dissapointing if we don't get these new DLC.

About the cloak... I find it ridiculous... the "big mystery plot" wasn't good at all for me.
What I definitely want is a more in-depth background plot about her. What really happened after that accident. I wouldn't really mind to play as her with her cloak and mask. I'm really happy we might be getting a DLC for her. Who knows.
All i know is that i cannot wait any longer

So, if this news item turns out to be something legit, will all the folks who claimed sacrilege concerning Jill's appearance in RE5 suddenly become avid supporters of the title?

Also, this possible material better be delivered via DLC and not some sort of reissued sales package...

She said that she shot a few scene's. If this was a Seperate Way's game I think she would be shooting more than a few scenes. Hopefully this is the Director's Cut that will feature the way the game was supposed to be, like those picture's that where released in the Resident Evil 5 Art Book. There will probably be a few of those scene's added and some new level's. I think the Separate Ways game will be released on Dlc. This Director's Cut will be the full game with extra content and yes it will probably be around 45 Pounds. I don't mind paying for this as long as they don't release another Director's Cut like a month later with the Separate Ways game on it. Then I'd be pissed off.

I'm lowering my expectations for this. If it's a whole new playable campaign ala Separate Ways, great, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a CODE: Veronica X style re-release.

Like I said already. I am a whore and will probably get a Director's Cut for the motion control alone. But I really really hope if there are extra things in it, that we'll be seeing it as DLC for the game now.

Nah!

I really like RE5 a lot despite the fact that RE5 Jill is merely a bastardized version of REmake Jill.

Nothing has changed for me on that issue.

So... I was somewhat close to the mark... the Director's Cut is actually a motion-control game!
