I like how the zombies can run now too, but I really would have liked it if they kept the Crimson Heads.

It's kind of funny how they started out wanting to prove that you could make a horror game set in full daylight and still have it be scary when they were developing RE5, and yet it looks like The Darkside Chronicles, of all things, is going to be a better example of that idea, judging from this trailer.

What's funnier is that someone would consider anything shown in this trailer as being "scary," especially the daylight levels.

Really, the only thing scary about this trailer is how shitty the non-cutscene graphics are.

Thoughts:
- Manuella certainly is a new (and thus disposable) character
- Mutated piranhas...really?
- Dense jungle looks pretty cool, but I wonder if it'll only be featured in the cutscene or as a backdrop
- Krauser looks bigger than he did in RE4 (where are the steroid jokes?)
- The physical actions/camera movement done on rails look far better than in REUC
- "G" is cooler than ever

Perhaps I should clarify my statement.

No, there is nothing scary about the trailer. However, it evokes what I would consider to be closer to a horror-style atmosphere or presentation than anything RE5 did in its daytime levels.

Well, to be fair, his motivations in RE4 weren't necessarily evil ("To bring order and balance to this insane world of ours.") in and of themselves. It was the means by which he intended to achieve his goals that made him a villain.

ALEXIA TRANSFORMING FFFFFFFFFFF OH GOD I CAME. ♥ Her voice is a little give or take for me. I loved her original, but it also sounds really childish here. Which I actually like considering her age when she experimented on herself.

Manuela's adorable, and I love her voice. Though that last time there is foreboding! Like, pre-mutation foreboding.

I really liked the music they used.

Perhaps I've seen too many movies and played too many games but I think Manuela might be some sort of "key" or ingredient that the baddies need to achieve their master plans. That is, they need her for something. Maybe she carries something within her (a new virus?)

I'm betting that Krauser 'dies' while they are trying to escape South America. I know it's a pretty obvious guess, but I have a feeling it has to do with the two of them trying to save Manuella.

Also, Manuella = Javier's daughter??
