It's all very pretty and yay nostalgia but....I really can't get excited for this. I have no idea why but my overall opinion on it is 'meh'.

It's finally dawned on me the niggling problem i have with this whole scenario.

Well for starters, the final third of Resident Evil 5 left a really sour taste in my mouth. Up until that part, RE5 to me had every chance of surpassing Resident Evil as my favourite game of all time. So for that, i do think Capcom are doing the right think, i'm going to consider this to be their apology.

However, i do think it's quite sickening the lengths Capcom are prepared to stoop to in their efforts to panda for the affections of the people they (as many people, not myself included) have been shitting on since RE4 in terms of atmosphere, setting, etc.

I mean, this is the sort of thing people would've KILLED FOR to have in the main game, yet for whatever reason they chose not to? So for that i'm quite apprehensive as to why it's suddenly good enough to offer it us now?

That's even IF this is something that was created when the game was originally made, i'm not so sure myself, seems very convenient! They're only shooting themselves in the foot for revealing it was apparently already made anyway...would've been one hell of a PR stunt to tell people that listening to the fans was the reason this was even made!

Don't get me wrong, i'm still psyched in a huge way for this and the PS3wii controls, but i still can't help but feel a bit apprehensive by it all!

I just can't stand that this isn't DLC.
I'm not buying the game again for a 2 hour scenario, maybe if it were half price when released, I wouldnt mind paying £20 aslong as alot is added...

You can beat the whole game in about 8:30 hours on the first run, so for an additional scenario 2 hours isn't that bad.

It is kinda bad if they charge ya full price for it.

If they throw in some extra cool features or sell it for a cheap good price, now that would change things for the better.

2 hours is ok but I was hopeing for maybe 3 or 4 hours just like in Separate Ways but at least it's going to be long.
