Biohazard 5: Alternative Edition Direct Feed Trailer
I tried messing with those two parts as well. Even brightening the image doesn't give you too much of an idea, but I am really excited to see more.
The last image though-- the shadow one. It really looks to me sort of like the hunter's posture. There is no "head" on he shadow, so if there is one it's hunched over much like they are (since that does look like an arm, meaning it has a humanoid type shape to it). But I'm not putting all my eggs in that basket of course since you never know.
Jill looks really amazing. The thunders are really Rebirth like. Hope they keep the whole "game" that way.
You're welcome.
And as for the concept here...yeah, though we've seen only a few seconds of it, this appears to be the kind of game that could have been the perfect blend of old school RE & new school RE. I still love RE5 on the whole, but this - Chris, Jill, Wesker, Spencer, mansion, puzzles, traps, etc - are really a "callback" to the roots of this franchise.
The more I look at this pic and watch it in the trailer, the more I think you're wrong, JB. The last time I checked, Chris and Jill didn't have giant bulbous growths between their shoulders. If you watch the part in the trailer, it looks like a mutated one-armed kind of thing that's slumping side-to-side as it walks.
At the same time, though, I'm doubtful, and you could be right...but I hope not.

Maybe you're right, but I still think it is just Chris's shadow, but it looks odd as the way the light is cast down the hallway. A split-second after that image, you can see something enter the screen on the far right, it looks as if it is Jill's handgun, as she walks holding the pistol with both hands down to her left, whereas Chris walks with it cocked up near his right shoulder, if we are to learn anything from hours upon hours of Versus.
But, maybe it is a monster, even though they supposedly haven't decided on monsters yet, right?
^Yeah. Who knows what to believe from them sometimes. Haha.
I'd also like to once again profess my adoration for Chris's BSAA outfit here. This has to be the most realistic outfit ever displayed in the RE universe for the mission at hand, especially tactically. Aside from maybe HUNK, of course. (And Jill's RE3 attire. ) I hope to see some official artwork of it (profile shots) soon.
I'm sorry but I find it really hard to believe that they haven't decided what kind of enemies are gonna be in the scenario. It comes out in March, which means it's only 5 months away. At this point, there has to be a lot finished, and a lot more that they're not showing us.
^Hey, I'm just going off what they stated in the Famitsu article. But I'm sure you're right, that they have to have something planned, if not already implemented.
Well, it looks pretty good. Though I'm not setting my expectations super high (we all know what happened the last time we set our expectations that high), I'm still pretty giddy over this.
Anyway, I'm still impressed with what we've seen so far. Looks so beautiful, and the nostalgia... I mean, wow, it's good. Hopefully we'll learn more about Spencer, too. Clearly the man loves himself, hanging all those portraits everywhere.
