Also, those shadows from the trailer are bothering me. I really, REALLY want them to be classic BOW.

I'm sorry but I find it really hard to believe that they haven't decided what kind of enemies are gonna be in the scenario. It comes out in March, which means it's only 5 months away. At this point, there has to be a lot finished, and a lot more that they're not showing us.

Remember the Crimson Heads from REmake?

Mikami asked... nay, forced the team working on the remake to come up with something different in regards to the generic enemies (zombies).So they came up with those cool hyper-zombies. And they did it in a couple of weeks (and during the x-mas holidays, no less). Well after they thought production of the remake had already stopped. And yet they did it.

I know team Takeuchi is no Team Mikami, but maybe they could pull something similar in regards to the enemies?

For some reason that figure walking at 0:40 reminds me of Lisa Trevor, especially when you see the movement of it's shadow at 0:43. The shadow makes it look kinda hunchbacked with long arms. Maybe it will be a BOW that stalks you around the mansion.

Anyway...

So the team is supposedly trying to come up with what enemies could be featured in the mansion, considering the fact a frail, old man lives in it too. My question is: what kind of enemy could that be?

Maybe the Enhanced ones from CV/x that follow those seekers?
Or personal Tyrants?
Or some completely new BOW?...

The thing is, though, I really want zombies to be in here. But how will they even fit in? Maybe from a viral leak from those enemies?

Any ideas?

here are a few observations having watched it about 40 times.

When you look at the thing move into the room, on the picture, the shadow cast on the ground has that very thing attachment on the right side, dangling down where the arm would dangle, but this looks hugely long and thin, not a human arm for sure. Especially the way it seems jutted out from the main form of the shadow.

As well, when you watch, when the shadow enters the room, at first I thought that bulbous circle around where its "head" would be might have just been a shadow cast from elsewhere in the room, blocking teh view of jill or chris's head, but watching it, that bulbous section moved as the shadow does, so that seems to rule out that it is just a shadow cast from the environment around. That too me also signifies that it couldnt be jill or chris, because, well its huge and too large to be a human head.

i havent seen evidence of a gun entering the screen, all that appears to me is that the "thing" enters the screen shot at the milliseconds the screen fades out, just showing a little bit of black protusions.

So, having watched it, at this moment, it seems to be neitehr chris nor jill, it seems to resemble a creature, and if i had to guess at the moment, something similar to a G creature (it reminds me of when birkin had that bulbous eye jutting out from his shoulder, as well, the thin shadow attached to where an arm would dangle, is thin enough to kind of resemble a crow bar? something like that.

this is all just speculation, but i have watched it a good deal of times, and it seems to be a creature. Of course Capcom could end up replacing it with a Whooper as mentioned above lol, so nothing is really concrete, just wanted to hsare what i saw.

Oh boy, you just had to see this one coming. So the scenario is basically them going through the mansion, which is where Spencer was hiding out, and is reminiscent of the mansion in Arklay? I see this playing out two different ways.

First, do you really expect BoWs? I highly doubt Spencer would hide out in a mansion with BoWs in it. Remember he wasn't at the first mansion, and the BoWs in that one were from an accidental outbreak. This could just be a puzzle solving scenario involving Chris/Jill.

Second, its not the mansion where Chris/Jill end up which involved the "death" of Jill in 2006. It could just be one where they received a tip but were wrong. Mansion ends up being an almost exact replica complete with viral outbreaks and all.

I am looking foward to this, it will be fun had by all and will likely go down as the superior version of RE5...further making Sheva fade away into deeper mediocrity.

Wait, youre suggesting itll end up being one of the locations where wesker and spencer werent? I have to disagree. Why then would it have a trailer full of wesker clips of him fighting jill and chris, including the fact that chris says this is spencer's mansion? As well, Takuechi has already confirmed this is the castle where Chris and jill find Wesker back in 2006.

i would think that there would be enemies, perhaps a BOW that is used to patrol the grounds for intruders, similar to a tyrant, or they could just craft a story, or have a lab underneath, maybe even have spencer realize they have arrived. I mean, its lready pretty far-fetched that a man on his death bed designs and has someone build a house with traps including and steel doors, how much of a strecth is that he also has BOW's ready to let loose? It is Re after all. Not too mention there is blood at the front door that is said to be symbolic.

There aren't really any BoW's that are controlled is there? Most we ever see are ones that are involved in an outbreak scenario or when someones trying to cause mayhem. Yeah the Majini and Las Plagas but Spencer didn't have those in his posession.

Just saying, wouldn't make sense. However Spencer is also a guy who doors to be opened with cranks or doors that require you to fit a perfectly shaped object that happens to be hidden far away from the door in order to open it. It will be interesting to see what they do use.

On a sidenote, I hope the ending this scenario doesn't offer some alternate ending where you can save Jill from falling thus allowing RE5 main game to be played with Jill instead of Sheva. That brings up a huge can of contradictions in the storyline.
