I'd like to throw in Fallout 3, and even better yet, Oblivion's DLC into the argument.

          No.

          There's a 2gb limit for XBLA games.

But this isn't an XBLA game.

That was for Arcade games (the limit is 2GB now).

I personally would be happy with a DLC file, but if they decide to release another disc (as in the game as a re-release) then I would be happy too. I just hope they do give us an extra Mercenaries stage with the extra content. I collected almost everything there is of RE5 so I might get the DLC and then if the physical release ever does get cheaper over a few months then I would also get the disc.

There is of course the possibility that the DLC is completely crap and that I wouldn't want to get the disc. Too bad I can't vote. lol.

I don't even have the first version of RE5 for PS3/360 (I only own the PC version ) but I think a new disc would be much better. It could be a NEW GAME, no original RE5 stuff in it. I think it would be great.

An entire new game would take longer then till January. They still could add more stuff so the game is 16 hours long in it's entirety (at least) . But they wont give us that.

? Where did you get January from? At TGS they mentioned March and that's only because that's when the Motion Controller is launching in Japan. There's no confirmation as to when we'll see RE5:AE in the west, but my guess would be spring/summer 2010 at the earliest.

It depends on the cost of the disc. If it's packaged with the old game at full price then forget it. If it's just the new content at a much lower price, then that's a much much much better option than DLC.

Disc obviously. fuck downloads. i rather be the actual owner than feel like i'm renting this shit online and only working when i sign in, instead of working all together when offline. plus, i won't have to worry about terms of agreement (for consoles, not PC)
