  • Resident Evil 0 Wii New Release Date

Previously set for a vague winter release then a Jan 26 release, Capcom have update the publisher regarding the release date for Resident Evil 0 Wii once again.

This time, Amazon have send an email to everyone who already pre-ordered RE0 Wii to inform them that the release date for the game is December 08 2009.

Shit. Capcom is going to bleed us dry this year and we wont have the money to buy the re5 alternate edition next year...

Well, that's not too bad. At least it's a little sooner, and right before Christmas!

That was a pleasant change! You don't usually hear of them moving the date earlier.

I just got Remake for Wii so I guess I can ask for this for Christmas.

I loved Remake but I just didn't enjoy this. Rebecca wasn't a really interesting character and Billy was kind of plain. I guess I was most disapointed in the fact that there was so much opportunity to explain what happens to Bravo but Capcom opted for the old 64 script.

I still want to know how Edward jumped through a train window that was at least 10 feet off the ground...

While I definitely enjoyed Remake more than RE0, I thought the latter was a solid game. I do agree that the story was a bit iffy at times (with singing young Marcus on top of the hill like a Zelda game or something), but I really enjoyed the atmosphere of some of the environments, like the training facility and the laboratory.

I wish they would have left the factory portion out of the game, though, or at least explain that it wasn't the same lab that was in RE2... or was it?
                Mass production? Ridiculous!

                  My Christmas gift! \o/

I think RE0 would be great if it was Enrico instead of Rebecca. It would make much more sense and I trhink it'd be great to play as Enrico.

Extra content! They did it with CV, RE4, and RE5, and REmake was basically RE1 on steroids (in a good way), no reason they couldn't add a little something-something with Enrico (Separate Ways-style)... Granted, I don't think he did too much, but still.

Actually, Marcus seems more like a Final Fantasy fugitive. Not only do they sing showtunes in that franchise, but the characters also have the same tendency as Marcus of dressing-up in front of a funhouse mirror.

I did enjoyed seeing Wesker and specially Birkin in Zero.

Not a scary game but still decent.

Quick question please, do the Wii Resident evils have anything extra, or are they just the same as the originals? Thanks in advance

Pretty much identical, bar the Wii control scheme and possibly something to do with how the game is displayed. No new modes or anything.
