Well, maybe not as much as RE movies were, but Mortal Kombat was also responsible for butchering characters here and there. For example, why do Sub-Zero and Scorpion work together for a Shang-Tsung?

Where did you get Jill is returning in REA?

"but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend."

I think I_Am_Nemesis was referring to this. I thought Jill as soon as I read this as well. I did think Chris but I'm guessing they haven't met yet.

          Doesn't that mean Claire Redfield?

I don't really see Sienna confirming... maybe it's a surprise?

I forgot Claire was in the films to be honest.

Oh. That wasn't made very clear then; I just assumed it was theater numbers like the live-action movies.

Still, considering how much (as in basically nada) advertising it got, Degeneration performed fairly well.

Meh. I just want to see the films now to see how it all ends, for better or worse.
Maybe Alice will get superpowers enough to beat Game Wesker so i can at least be grateful for that.

I'm not very good at geography. But at the end of the 3rd film, they were going to Alaska, and now Los Angeles is on the way to Alaska from Vegas?

Even worse, Alice was supposed to go to Tokyo.

Worse than that is that they're filming in Toronto and trying to pass it as being LA.

I think it's time some competent writer/director reboots the series, calls it biohazard and releases that.

Anderson has been ruining a good thing for me for a long time. My sister watched the movie just a while back and asked me why I love the games so much. I gave her my DS and RES, she couldn't put it down. she then saw why I was so angry at how the plot and canon have changed so much.

Honestly, capcom should just go the Degeneration path and reboot the series like that. It was good (Leon was wooden, but the rest was very well done), it stuck to the back story and series logic.

And most of all, it didn't feature some super human "weskering" the series. In all honesty the only reason I liked Wesker in the games is because he's the bad guy, but he isn't being used bombastically to punch the action quotient to max potential.

Ya know I'm a bit disappointed they're getting a new guy to play Wesker. I liked him in Extinction; he radiated arrogance very well. I guess maybe they needed a new actor since Wesker will liekly have more action scenes in Afterlife.

                            Apparently you forgot about Leon.

I try not to think about him as a character rather than scenery.

At least Alice seems to have more to her than him, at least Degeneration Leon.
