Well we already know from the premium TGS trailer that Leon knows about the Ashfords and T-Veronica so its likely he's just recalling events Chris and Claire have told him or read their reports on the incident.
    "I've got 100 cows."
    "Well I've got 104 friends."

I have yet to play Dead Space: Extraction, but from the videos I've seen I can't say I'm impressed. The lack of a destructible environment seriously puts a damper on the replay value for me. Plus, I also heard that it's very short.

Another reason the sales for DS:E are bad is probably due to the fact that $50 for a short rail-shooter is quite a high price. If they drop it to $30-$35 it will definitely sell better. I'll be waiting until then to even consider purchasing it - I liked the original Dead Space, but not enough to spend that kind of money on a game with such limited replay value. Those who have already purchased it are most likely huge fans of the series; everyone else probably just rented it.

I hope there will be more statistics in DSC; I already like the fact that there is a score displayed on-screen. I'd also love for it to keep track of how much stuff I broke (unlike UC; it told you how many but it didn't save them) and how many of each enemy I've killed (like in RE5).
      Mass production? Ridiculous!

Dead Space Extraction, from what I've played thus far, focuses mainly on storytelling than gameplay. If you're a fan of the original, you should check the game out, but if you're looking for an actual railshooter, look to HOTD: Overkill. Most of the time I was viewing the cutscenes, switch to killing a couple of necromorphs or solving circuit puzzle, then back to cutscene again, so its really a guided 1st person experience. There's an unlockable mode which lets you solely kill necromorphs though, which was actually what i expected when i buy the game. Its not a bad nor great game, but a 7ish game.

The experience between DSE and RE:UC is really difference. I can see why people might like DSE, but comparing the two isn't very fair. I can argue on the other hand, that this game is going to have more weapons, more enemies variation, more interactive background items etc, all of which DSE have sacrificed to have more storytelling which Kotaku have praised.
