The House of the Dead 2. I mean come on, there wasn't a single line in that game that didn't make me wonder if they didn't run the script through babelfish and hand it to some random tourists who were in Japan at the time.

Bitter fanboy rantings aside, the first game was always considered unintentionally hilarious, long before RE4 was even a blip on the radar. You can't honestly believe that RE4 and RE5 are the reason the first game in the series appeared on a list like this. Come on.

I liked RE4 a lot but I don't like RE5 at all. Mikami abscence is the key why I don't like RE5.

RE1 has just a bad voice acting on purpose.
If RE5 wouldn´t have confirmed the primary genre shift, I believe that this funniest game "award" wouldn't have been given to RE.

Indeed I believe that this funniest game award wouldn't have been in anybody's mind at the time when RE's where about strictly survival horror.

People have been making fun of RE for years. Note; smoking da herb, Jill Sanwhich, I HAVE THIS!, I used Barry for my...personal purposes, It Works really well on living things, Master of Unlocking, It's a MONSTER!

RE5 had nothing to do with this one. RE1's always been hilarious. Just not hilarious enough to make a list like this.

I really don't see how RE made the list. The voice acting was horrible not funny and they probably could have picked another game.

Well, that's just it. The voice acting was so bad it WAS funny, whether it was intended or not (and I think the general consensus is that it was indeed meant to be cheesy, to fit with the whole "Horror Movie" feel).
