I will have never imagine this, but it seems even Jack Krauser couldn't resist making an account on Twitter. Krauser have just started tweeting on his South America mission with a new partner by the name of Leon Scott Kennedy, and you can follow his adventure by clicking on his twitter link below.

Because stand-alone posts like "wow" or "lol" do come off as posts and more than just simply "spamming".

These twitter feeds, as amusing as they are, contain little to no spoilers. Nothing new has really come from them and the fact that someone gets paid to post these amazes me.

I think the Twitter idea isn't necessarily something an external marketing source is coming up with, more the usual Unity guys thinking they're playing their part in promoting the game effectively. "Hey look at us, in touch with social networking!"

Same with that pathetic RE5 blog. It was clear to see that the people behind the blog knew fuck all about the game and were just turning into a 3 minute trailer into a weekly episodic trip to Africa, even having the nerve to add a name to a character (the real) Capcom never had any plans with other than to kill off within seconds.
