Thanks to BahamutRetsu for the feed, we learn that there are 2 new reviews for RE: The Darkside Chronicles. Do check out the articles for full details by clicking on the link.
Or, just go and read some of the comments in the Umbrella Labs thread "Darkside Chronicles Official Thread" where THIA users are skewering this title. Don't waste $50 of your hard-earned cash on a game that's not worth its full, new-release price.
^How un-refreshing. You bashing someone else's negative post, yet thinking your constant negativity is always necessary. Hypocrite much?
If you notice, I just offered links to "official" reviews that are not positive (what, are only positive reviews allowed?) and informed others to reference the opinions already being offered by people (from this site) who have "played the game." Nowhere did I state my own personal opinion on the gameplay. Sure, I said this game is not worth full price, which - based on its length, story-bastardization, and being ANOTHER light-gun game on Wii - seems a fair assessment.
Thanks for trying though. Keep up that scathing, brutish demeanor.
Just saying. You haven't played, yet you're bashing. Those on here who keep up with Biohaze will know right away who that brings you right in line with. Good times!
What exactly makes a review "official" anyway? Who the fuck has really heard of Zentendo or DigitalChumps? Who are these sites?

I think this guy gets offended when someone says something positive about this game. But judging by his name, I wouldn't take him too seriously.

You mean to tell me that you're on two sites? You spread your daily negativity to not just one, but TWO communities? How do you do it, without exhaustion? Can I be your apprentice?

Well, they were linked on metacritic, so they're more official than you or me. But I thought maybe you had something to do with DigitalChumps. Gamepro is still official, I guess, by your terms. Aren't they?

There are a number of us who can actually handle being a member of more than one RE community.

LOLOLOL!!! COS IT 'S DIGITALCHUMPS AND I'M MEANT TO BE A CHUMP!!!1!!
Man, rubbish reply. Don't know why you bothered.
Let's just end it with a stalemate. I'll be the chump, and you'll be the one slagging off a game you haven't played.
Don't ever let a review from some game site determine whether or not you will purchase a game or not. If you are a Resident Evil fan who liked the "classic" games, you'll like DSC. It may skew the old stories a bit, but as Dark Chris said, they're not canon. It's cool to see the classic areas of RE2 in 3D, and the creepy, solitary areas of CVX.
Gamespot gave the game a 6/10.
Good:
* Lengthy campaign with replayability
* Large variety of locations to explore and enemies to fight
* Strong, coherent storytelling.
Bad:
* Shaky-cam perspective makes precise aiming nearly impossible
* Overreliance on cheap surprise tactics
* AI partner is absolutely useless
* Second player can't join during the action.
