As much as I'd like to see more classic characters in mercs I doubt it will ever happen. If Capcom was to take the time to create a brand spankin' new character model, who do you seriously think they would pick?

EDIT: BTW, if it is 8 characters total, I'd think it's 4 extra characters with 2 outfits for each, just like it is right now. So I'd say its probably like this:

Why on Earth would they include Excella in the pack? Someone like DeChant would seem more reasonable.

Am I the only one who doesn't give a rat's ass about any of the random BSAA members or RE5 villains showing up in Mercenaries? Seriously, what fun would it be to play as the random cannon fodder dude who gets killed by Uroboros, or the one who is crushed by Ndesu? No! I want classic characters!

I'm 90% sure that we're not gonna get classic characters. Like many have said, I'd be extremely surprised if they created anyone from scratch for the RE5 engine. They'll most likely be rehashes and other characters from RE5, like Irving.
