Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil 0 Out Now

Resident Evil 0 Wii have received so many changes in its release date that its not funny. The initial date was a winter release before Gamestop revealed a date of Jan 26 2010. Then, the date was pushed forward to Dec 8 2009 according to Amazon, and in less than a month the date was again shifted to Dec 1st 2009.

I guess these all ends here, because Walmart just flipped Capcom the bird and have put up the game on their shelves.

It seems they have different dates for the various retailers if you goes by GoNintendo article. The only official date by Capcom was 1st Dec if I am correct.

They finally shipped mine this week. I ended up having to get a phone number I could call myself to set up the free order, since I was getting nowhere waiting for someone from customer service to contact me.

I gave my contact number to three different people on three different occasions, and I even made a thread about it in the "Ask Capcom" forum on Capcom-Unity. The thread seemed to help more than contacting customer service, because the Capcom Store rep on the forums, I believe his sn was "DJay," got the ball rolling.

Needless to say, I don't think I'll ever order anything from the Capcom Store again.

I don't understand CAPCOM releasing these games for the Wii when they are no different than the GameCube version. Ooohhh you can play the game with the Wii remote, big fucking deal. Go on eBay or amazon and buy the gamecube version for $10-15. The games don't have improves graphics, they aren't in HD they are just pointless and just another way for CAPCOM to suck money from stupid people. Yeah I get it they are a corporation and that's what they do but come on, at least try to make it look like you aren't ripping people off here. And that ladies and gentlemen is what grinds my gears.

^ You said it yourself. They did it for the money, if they re-launch the game they might have some extra sells since the GC versions didn't sold that much.

-Doesn't require a GC controller + Memory Card (no need to go hunting for those additional expenses if you don't have 'em already)
-Supports 480p EDTV/HDTV mode (under no circumstances did the GC original do this, as forcing the game into 480p still breaks the scaled rendering of the backgrounds)
-Available NEW and on shelf (no need to go second hand shopping)
-Dunno if it was added in US RE0 (as JP release didn't have it), but REmake at least features aspect ratio correction based on your Wii system settings (no need to manually use your TV's scaler, if that's your thing)

I saw this in the Best Buy ad paper that it was available on the 1st and was surprised. Maybe I shouldn't because it is a port and should have been out when remake came out.

Needless to say, I don't think I'll ever order anything from the Capcom Store again.

I ordered the UC blaster and RE Essentials over the summer and it took almost 6 weeks to get it in the mail. I wasn't that mad because I was buying the stuff as collectibles and not planning on using it but don't think I would buy something from the Capcom Store that I wanted right away. Also the Capcom store is selling the game for 10 dollars more ($39.99) and don't think an Umbrella is worth 10 bucks.

I get your point, but those are only real upgrade I see if putting it in 480p and thats not even that great. Amazon has the game for $6, I would save the money. RE0 wasn't that great of a game anyways

Wow, I just got the game and they didn't just add 480p like REmake but they also added
Widescreen support to the game which wasn't implemented in REmake. Also, to top that
off it looks gorgeous!

Why Capcom!? Why didn't you add widescreen support to REmake!?
