  • Resident Evil - The Darkside Chronicles now available in PAL regions!

Just a gentle reminder to all the PAL members out there, that today marks the day when Resident Evil - The Darkside Chronicles should be available for purchase in your local game stores, if they haven't already put it up early.

The game is available both in a regular stand alone version and a bundle containing a Wii Zapper controller shell!

Nah not bothering, too much better stuff out there to get first.

Will probably wait until new year and then download someone's save file for it or something.

me too. Enjoyed stage 1 of op javier, like the banter between Leon and Krauser. Camera seems fine so far.

        "Well I've got 104 friends."

I like this quote from the back of the box.

"The HORROR comes to life with MIND BLOWING GRAPHICS"

            Hell yeah.

Mine came yesterday, good old ShopTo!

So glad its Friday, I think I'm like halfway, I hope I'm not because the game seems quite short. But I'm really enjoying it so far, better than I imagined and I can't wait to try some co-op and hunt down all the archives.

Anyway, I'm gonna go finish this game off! Might post my thoughts in the forum later!

Okay you officially cannot post on this website anymore, your post count is on 666! Quite fitting for a horror forum

Got my copy today and made it until the second Javier chapter. Not really impressed so far... tbh I think Umbrella Chronicles was more fun than this (talking only about gameplay, not the story).

Got mine today, the bundle with the Zapper, JUST for the funky box!!!

Only had time to play the First part of Javier and the first part of Raccoon City, but I'm going to pound it after finishing work tomorrow!!!

You won't be able to get someone's Save file unless you have a (Soft/Hard) modded Wii.

Really? Have they changed it? That's how I played UC because I'm shit at rail shooters.

Actually, it went on sale in Australia a few days ago.

                            I'm enjoying it!
It's a bit better than I thought it would be. I'm up to the CV level. The RE2 level was pretty good, I thought. A nice on-rails tribute to RE2. It was a joy to see so many of the RE2 environments and creatures recreated so faithfully and well. Really good graphics and FMVs. I wasn't particularly bothered by the changes to the story, because I was expecting it. It's just 'retelling' it in a popcorn movie style.
'Crazy Cam' is annoying but at least it settles down during sections. I still think the game would have been a lot more FUN without it. The boss fights have been a mixed bag so far. Some have been fun but others are just painful (and kinda broken).

I had to install some new apps on my Wii to allow me to skip the 'disc update' it wanted to do. I'm still on system 3.2 and I'd like to keep it that way.

Unfortunately "yes", but it's not like it was planned or anything. It's a
byproduct for the game having Wi-Fi capibilities just like any other
game that has Wi-Fi implemented. I guess it's to protect people
from being impersonated online or something of the sort.
