Relax, I didn't want to offend anyone anywhere

Anyway, it's obvious this rumor is a giant BS, as i said before according with vgchartz DSC sold 140k copies in North America after 4 weeks since its launch (and not just 50k), but it's true that Darkside Cronicles selling a bit less than UC (16k copies less after a month in N America).

I think there is more than one valid reason: for example one reason might be New Super Mario Bros Wii released 2 days before DSC!
I mean it's obvious lots of Wii owners prefer to buy a classic Nintendo masterpiece (a must buy in my opinion) instead of a spin off from the RE franchise.
In my opinion the only Capcom's fault, is a bad release date.

He Destroyed The series >: ( ... Jun at least Is a big Fan of RE!
Mikami Didn't destroy the series,Capcom did because they are cheap and greedy.

DSC looks good but fans including myself would perfer a RE2 remake,we've been requesting that for some time, but I don't know what capcom has against giving what the fans what they want.RE2 was the top selling game in 1998.Jun Takauchi was talking about that fans want a RE2 remake and was interested to see that happen,So whats holding him back? After all he did work on RE2.

Big LOL in the face of anyone that even thinks the series is "destroyed" when whether people choose to believe it or not, the series has NEVER been move alive.

Those 5 million units, and counting, sure don't look dead to me.

Resident Evil, as a money making franchise, is doing well. As a game series the fans enjoy, many still love it. It just isn't what a lot of people feel it should be.

Until the hoilday season is over and 6 months have passed, then you can tell how the game sold. Give it some time. The game is what I expected not the greatest but fun to play.
