It's like "Hey guys and gals! Check out Biohazard 5: Alternative Edition, NOW WITH 50% MORE JILL GAMEPLAY!"

Actually, with both DLC episodes featuring Jill as a playable character, it's 100% more Jill gameplay.

Seriously, the whole Lost in Nightmares scenario is what they're basing this marketing campaign around (well, moreso than Desperate Escape, obviously), and since Jill is such a well known character, they're gonna pretty her up and make her look super noticeable for that very purpose: To get people to buy the game.

Actually, they just released the info & trailer from LIN first...probably since it will take place in the context of the narrative FIRST. And more info for DE is coming and probably even a trailer. SO I don't see how they're basing the entire marketing campaign around LIN only.

And as for Jill being a well-known character who sells the most for Capcom...well, RE5 sold over 5 million copies without a majority of consumers knowing anything about Jill being in the game (much less playable) so I think that theory is out the window too.

DOES it look too bright compared to Chris being all shadowed-out and whatnot? Yes. Does it look weird? Yes. Does this mean that it's a bad picture? No.

No, it really IS a bad picture. Chris looks realistic and Jill looks inhuman. Plus, her being at the forefront of the image for the entire RE5 game package makes no sense, as Jill is just a tiny piece of the game (especially in her BSAA costume). Wesker would have made more sense to be on the cover than Jill.


Notice the strange glow on Jill's face, the vacant stare, the elongated jaw bone. Her chin stretches a MILE to her ear. Looks terrible. The porcelain doll is creepy.


This would have made for a much better cover.


Normal jaw Jill is much more appealing.
