I noticed that too. How exactly that will work in a 3rd-person shooter is beyond me. I bet it's only for a few areas, where you won't have to aim or fight enemies...just to throw it in people's faces. "You wanted your fixed camera angles? Here you go."

I doubt that. We've all seen on Dot50Cal's "RE4 Classic Edition" how akward aiming is in RE4 with static camera, so it wouldn't be much better here. I think that those fixed cameras will only be present in the above the ground parts of the mansion, where there will be no enemies and only puzzles - after all all those scenes with the monsters we've seen so far (on videos and screens) were from basement and dungeons beneath the mansion.

Don't worry about that, Capcom already confirmed you can use your old saves with the Gold Edition

I agree with Mr Zombie, I think the game (if) will use fixed camera only during those exploration/puzzle solving parts with no enemies.
