RE5 Gold Edition Gets Website and Boxart

Capcom just launched a new site for the upcoming Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition which also reveals the new boxart, apparently this time US and European versions will get the same artwork.

And I noticed one thing, in the mercenaries reunion, you have a different division than its in the japanese site. From the three that are still to come, you have two on Lost in Nightmares and 1 (the other one being Josh) in Desperate Escape... what this means? I have no idea.

No, I was always hoping 2 new costumes for her... my first bet was 2 for each characters from RE5... but with this new trailer, I think that there is a small chance Jill actually all 3 left... and for me, that would be awesome.

So I know you must have a sad history fighting Jill fans but I have nothing to do with it... I never said Jill need something, I just said what would be perfect for ME...

My reasoning for Barry and Rebecca being playable is the recent display of their "figurines" (with voice work). I mean, the character models have to be for something other than just an easter egg. Besides, I am more positive that they'd be Mercs/Versus characters than appearing in some sort of flashback in a flashback for LIN. (NOTE: I cannot wait to deliver a Hydra blast to Rebecca's stupid face. Her voicework in this game, while hilarious - "I'm Rebecca; Oh Noo!" - makes her seem even more like a pre-pubescent character, that just so happens to be a medic/law enforcement agent/chemical expert/child prodigy. )

Anyway...there are 4 figurines remaining in the youtube vid. That leaves STARS Jill, and 3 others. One of which will likely be the cellar monster from LIN. The other 2...?

Any guesses? Perhaps a new enemy from DE? And maybe another Josh Stone?

With Lost in Nightmares being a nostalgic throwback to the original game, it makes a slightly more logical amount of sense if that winds up being true. I just watched that (spoilery) video myself, and while it could just be a "oh hey look at these special figures you can get!" thing instead of an Mercs thing, I'm still excited either way. \o\
