RE5 Gold Edition Gets Website and Boxart

You can see from the release list, that The Mercenaries reunion will not be included on the download files ... so will it be in the game? So when you download the skin packs you can play mercenaries?

So you're a typical Jill fan in that TWO new episodes co-starring Jill isn't enough and you want her to take over every possible addition possible?

Seriously. It's ridiculous how the most lame requests and squeals are associated with Jill fanboys.

Rather than 3 new sluttish outfits for her, why not just distribute one among each for Jill Josh and Wesker. At the very least, that'll be more variety and actual additions.

Since we already have STARS Wesker and Chris I guess Jill STARS, Barry and Rebecca would make sense in order to complete the STARS crew which survived the Raccoon City accident.

While I'm excited for the possibility that Barry and Rebecca will be playable, I'm not happy with the fact that we probably won't get another Wesker costume (the UC/RE4 one was cool, with the silenced handgun). I'm sick of Capcom trying to phase Wesker out of existence. None of the Chris/Sheva costumes impress me at all (except for Office Sheva). How many ridiculous versions of these two do we need?!

Since we know Josh will be playable in Reunion, my guess is that the other character from Desperate Escape will be STARS Jill or RE3 Jill (most likely the latter since STARS Jill's outfit is really similar to BSAA Jill's).

Well, they are main characters of the game, so it would be wiser to give them few new costumes to use in both Mercs and main campaign.

I'm not happy with the fact that we probably won't get another Wesker costume (the UC/RE4 one was cool, with the silenced handgun). I'm sick of Capcom trying to phase Wesker out of existence.

I'm pretty sure that was accomplished with two well-placed rockets to the face, as opposed to (possibly, since the final 3 have yet to even be "officially" revealed) providing Wesker with a new alt costume.

I love the boxart. The gold hue is actually quite nice, and I like it better than the Japanese cover.

That leaves 3 spots, yes.

My reasoning for Barry and Rebecca being playable is the recent display of their "figurines" (with voice work). I mean, the character models have to be for something other than just an easter egg. Besides, I am more positive that they'd be Mercs/Versus characters than appearing in some sort of flashback in a flashback for LIN. (NOTE: I cannot wait to deliver a Hydra blast to Rebecca's stupid face. Her voicework in this game, while hilarious - "I'm Rebecca; Oh Noo!" - makes her seem even more like a pre-pubescent character, that just so happens to be a medic/law enforcement agent/chemical expert/child prodigy. )

I'm doubtful Rebecca and Barry are going to be added to Versus. If they're added to Mercenaries, it's obviously only in the new mode, Reunion, and not the original, so adding them to Versus would be highly unlikely, just as I doubt the new costumes for Sheva and Chris will be added. Same goes for Josh. I'd love to be wrong, though. Because I, like you, would bask in the glory of shooting Rebecca in her "stupid face." :p Oh, yes. I'd love that so.

ETA: I just realized there are new wallpapers on the site, too. Folklore Sheva wallpaper. Dear God, that's delicious to look at and will suitably become my new wallpaper as of now.
