I really love the colors of the boxart. But the effect seems to fuck with Jill's face.

Yeah, that weird effect ruined her face. I don't like it. The original colour should've been blue... not yellow... but "Gold" means that the colour needs to be shiny instead of a dark one.

Ok so I thought, why not check the credits to see if they have been updated..

I saw Rebbeca and Barry added to the voice-over listing but then beneath them there is a credit for a character called Doug!

Also, Doug was mentioned under the Facial Animation Motion Capture listing, but not Barry and Rebecca..

Is this interesting or what!!!??? xD I like hearing about a new character but now what about Rebecca and Barry for mercenaries? Do other people have this update yet? Can they check their credits too!! thanks

Right I'm a bit behind on the news here so I was just wonderig if the gold edition is available in the uk or do I just have to download the new content? Also is Alternate edition just the Japanese version of RE5 Gold edition?

Gold Edition (EU/US) = Alternate Edition (JP)
(though, I'm still puzzled about whether or not Alternate Edition is reserved for the PS3 re-release in Japan)

Gold Edition (360) seems to come with just the vanilla 1.0 RE5 disc + DLC codes for Versus, Costume Pack 1-2, Lost in Nightmare and Desperate Escape (so it needs online access to both download the content and for the latest Title Update to support it)

Gold Edition/Alternate Edition (PS3) seems to come with everything pre-patched and put on the disc itself.

And, yes, Gold Edition will be available in the UK. However, like with all other regions, this pack will come out after all the DLC is up on the marketplace and PSN.
