Gamespot's "Lost in Nightmares" Hands On Impressions

For those curious about the weapons in Lost in Nightmares, I think LiN and DE will both use your existing inventory, so everything you already have will carry over into those levels as if they were part of the main story.

I doubt this will be the case, we've already been told about the lack of ammo in Lost in Nightmares, if we are being given the nostalgia we want (which it looks like we are) you'll start the game with a handgun and find other things as you progress.
The first section of the game is entirely puzzle solving so your not going to need weapons until the lower sections of the mansion.
I'm glad we aren't being given ridiculous amounts of information and spoilers, as we got with 5, what more do we need to know other than were getting to return to the spencer estate with jill and chris one last time, it's gonna be amazing

In few parts of the video, you can see Chris Picking some kind of crystal(money), i wonder if that is for buying weapons and upgrading them?

I think that the upgrade system is different in lost in nightmares, since the display for the money seems to look different. I'm guessing that since it is a flashback we will have to use the inventory we're given in the mission itself and by entering the other chapter/minichapter we would be able to upgrade the weapons. I'm starting to wonder if the new chapters will actually be included in the game or if we will have to select it in a different menu.

Yes, the display looks different, i'm guessing because the "currency" is no the same, the Africa was some N something, or i don't know, maybe is for something else. If you seen the video with the Patch from the PS3 that came for very little, you could see that they separated the extra content (aka , LIN, DE, Versus, Mercenaries Reunion, and Extra figures) in a different menu.
