I must admit that I liked the background music in the videos.

I'm not so sure I understand WHAT is so new about this mode. the skins I get ... a few more enemies here and there I get too ... but there has to be more?

If there aren't some new maps and weapons, I'm sure a lot of individuals (including myself) will be disappointed.

I'm still quite upset that Excella is in this, they gave no indication that she was anything more than some stupid bimbo in the story, but now she can wield an AK47 and judo kick the shit out of people...something seems off here

You're getting two new scenarios, four new characters, and some extra costumes. There's really nothing to be disappointed about. Would I like some new maps? Sure, but I'm still fine with what I'm getting at the moment.

Excella, despite every intelligence she supposedly has (wouldn't know much about it, considering we had to read about it, not see it), this woman appears to be incapable of thinking without her twat getting in the mix. Planning to take over the world? Attempt to seduce your partner in crime! Fighting off hordes of Plaga-infected demons? Use your sexuality!

I'm not trying to feed into the bashing of Excella based on her inclusion in this new Mercenaries mode, because while it's silly, I'm not upset about it. She looks like fun to play, and I will enjoy controlling her. But it's the principle of her character that is so utterly sickening. Sorry, she just really grates my nerves. :|

I actually hardly notice the difference anymore, to be honest. Took some adjusting at first, but now it feels irrelevant. But, you're right--someone else should join Sheva in the lefty universe just so she's not lonesome, haha.

Personally, I think the inclusion of Excella is an interesting move. Every game like this needs a joke character, right? Really, it's hard to take her seriously. I think this is just a fun little addition.

Although she really enjoys flaunting her... Ah... 'Assets', doesn't she?

I think this is a good thing. Sheva being on the right side of the screen makes her pretty much unplayable to me (which is good, since I don't really like her).

On another note, the more I watch these videos, the more I want these new skins to eventually become available in Versus. Josh's chest pound--along with the "Yeah, who is the man?!"--would be the best taunt ever in Team Survivors. I grin like a madwoman just at the thought.

Really curious as to who the final two characters are. If it's Barry and Rebecca, that's awesome. I can't wait to see what Barry's melee attacks would be like. Just...epic, man-strength burliness all over the place. Rebecca would probably screech at the top of her lungs until the Majini's parasite exploded.

The only reasoning I can see behind Excella being included would be if she was the boss for Desperate Escape. Maybe she fights Josh and Jill, then that's where she failed Wesker and he injects her with Uroboros.

Saw both videos... they look awesome! Can't wait to play as them. Also, come on people, Mercenaries is just a mini game... No need to be angry about Excella's fighting style. What about Wesker fighting majinis, then? Neither of that is canon...
