In my opinion, I'm excited! Maybe it's because I'm in love with Milla, too, but I did enjoy the movies.

True. And I want to see how they fuck up Wesker.

Did that back when RE4 came out ironically enough. The movies have split people right down the middle, some hate them with a passion and others enjoy them, i enjoy them, maybe because i didn't expect them to try and recreate the games.

Guarantee that Wesker is going to transform just like at the end of RE5. These clones will ruin the movie and it will be awful. All that being said I'm sure mostly everyone who complains about the movies will go see it anyways because theres always that glimmer of hope that maybe it will be a half decent movie.

This should be interesting at least. Got to cross fingers to find anything funny to be used for gifs in the teaser.

Paul W.S. Anderson: How nice of you to join us. RE: Afterlife is on the eve of its appearance. Six billion cries of agony will birth a new balance. Soon even you will understand...one glimpse of my new world (millions of clones of my star/wife), and it will all make perfect sense.

                      Audience: Cover your eyes!

Anderson: Unfortunately, it’s too late for you. This film, despite being utter rubbish and in defiance of good taste, will make lots of money!

Really? "In defiance of good taste?" So I have bad taste in movies? I love how people think these movies are supposed to be Oscar contenders. They're just good popcorn movies. Well, good is debatable (I like them anyway ), but still. It's a video game movie, not an Academy Award winner.

Got to agree here. I know people who never played any of the games on Resident Evil and love the films for what they are. Even some other that didn't enjoy the series loved the film universe.

Who on Earth would think these films are supposed to be award contenders? Honestly, who? (Unless you're speaking of the Razzies.) My post is a joke. Jesus Christ, why do you get so bent out of shape over people's OPINIONS on these films? You like them, others do not. It's not the end of the world.

I made a joke about "good" (being entirely subjective) taste, and you came in swinging for the fences. Then contradicted yourself by saying that "good" is actually....wait for it..."debatable." Even so, good taste - at least concerning motion pictures - is often indicated by respectable awards (voted on by people of importance in the film industry), rather than box office receipts. So I guess my statement does have some merit.

What is your point, exactly? That it's okay if a person likes the films, yet bad if another person does not like them? Yeah, that's fair.

You claim that YOU know people that like the films. Does that automatically make it a valid argument? Well, I know people that don't like the films. What does that mean, then?

It all means that some people like things, while other people do not like the same things. It has something to do with individual preferences...

My point was showing that it doesn't take a genius to know that there are different audiences for different things, and the "success" on the films you can see around that this audience enjoys this series (a pretty obvious statment even to say to begin with). I was giving reference my reply above with an example. It’s not rocket science but I can see that your eager enthusasm for anything related to the films in your post history clearly shows to jump in on people when they give their opinion on such matters. More power to you I’d say if you wish to be that way.
