Yeah. It's sad that a talentless hack like Anderson can only find any real success by leeching off an established video game franchise, and more or less "fanficin'" it. Not to mention, besides the money, it earned him a European hottie as a wife and mother.

Life is seriously screwed up like that, but if people keep paying for shit, well. . .there's no incentive for hollywood to do anything different.

I don´t like the movies, not much, but I´ve always seen it ...and I wanna see to Sienna again in this movie, she did a really good job in Apocalypse.. but when i read ".. unexpected help from an old friend." I think it is about Claire... anyway I wish that Jill appears..

I'm not expecting much. It's not like I need my films to be 100% faithful adaptations. I do enjoy Shining and Jurassic Park just as well. However these films were trash with the only decent one being the first first film. It's not like the original RE game was something to hold up to, but the way Anderson went about it with the sequels was.....as said earlier....some kind of cheap fanfiction. Mixing his own characters in with the game ones (who are game characters pretty much by name only) and working them into some kind of kung-fu action plot where the main lead has powers and is stronger than the threats she faces? Just doesn't work for me.

However there's no point in complaining so much about it now. We're three films in, and the last one really didn't leave any hope for future films to be better. World wide zombie apocalypse and an army of Alice clones? We toss that with probable RE5 and Code Veronica elements now because Anderson is random that way. Boy that fourth film sounds like a classic....

Talent is a matter of opinion yeah? So whilst you might not like his work, he's making himself and a lot of other people LOOOOADS of money. So evidently, there are people who think he's talented.

And to say he ONLY finds real success from Resident Evil is nothing short of pathetic really. You don't get handed (and then hold onto) a franchise like Resident Evil without having a great level of success beforehand.
