I think the pics look mighty fine. Well, maybe a little work could have been done to The Executioner (post-production, plz). And I also would have liked Sienna as Jill in it, too. Oh well, looks cool (I love the Chris and Claire pic).

What I don't understand is how it can even begin to follow the RE5 storyline. I mean, with Apocalypse we have a good idea that any part of the game storyline will be horribly fucked up to make sure Alice is front at centre at all times, so Chris and Wesker will never have met and Wesker's focus will be purely on Alice and such. Chris as a supporting character...honestly, I'm slightly impressed that Alice isn't reflected in the sunglasses.

But it can't actually feature a village in Africa infected with a parasites, can it? Those are all gone. Villages, I mean. World ended. Tricell are unlikely to be around. I'd be surprised if Excella shows up, and if she does it's more likely she'll try to molest Alice than take over what's left of the world. Wesker's plan will also obviously have to be different. He doesn't have six billion cries of agony to herald his new era. He's got a few thousand, which given his powers (I'm assuming he'll have them, but the sunglasses strongly hint at it) he could quite easily reduce to one (Alice being the exception). So he doesn't really need to release a virus to devastate the planet since a virus has already devastated the planet.

So, it's looking very much like that being inspired by RE5 means it has a couple of the same characters and they'll be a scene on a tanker. Oh, and the same looking enemy...I very much doubt Las Plagas will even be mentioned, so the executioner will be something different...something that Alice Matrixes to death, I seem to recall. I think it'll have even less to do with RE5 than Apocalypse did RE3.

...and honestly? That's a good thing. The less actual Resident Evil plot in these movies, the better they are.

...that's an unfortunate possibility I hadn't considered. I keep blocking out the clones from my mind, for some odd reason. Probably because the only way to make the movies worse is to have it so they can have an Alice in each and every scene. Chris, Claire and Alice investigate the Umbrella labs while Alice battles the Executioner to stop it from killing Alice, who is synthesizing the cure for the T-Virus that will turn all the zombies back to humans, or maybe kittens. In a daring rescue attempt, Alice lands a helicopter on the Tanker to rescue Alice and Alice.

It will be interesting to see how this movie turns out. I have to admit that i do enjoy the films (even though a part of me hates them lol oh and i didn't enjoy extinction that much) so i gues im looking forward to the film its cool that they have incorporated the executioner into the film and wesker looks better than he did in Extinction (he looked fat and boring lol). However am I the only one that thinks the title looks kind of..... cheap, like it was made on some kind of free font making software?

I agree, this Wesker looks a lot more... mobile? Like he didn't sit in a chair all day? As for the font, I assume that's just the first pic, so probably we'll see more as time goes on.

Ahh and I keep forgetting the Alice clones. I can just see a Mr Smith pile on fight scene breaking out with the Army of Alice vs Wesker.
