The shade can be considered dirty blonde (look at the top of Roberts' hair - it's blonde, although a tad darker which isn't unusual when you also look back at the Wesker models).

At the very least, she's only within the films and due to it being a different interpretation and there hasn't been a real influence toward the games (aside from the laser hallways...) - I suppose it can work with the character design in Anderson's, however it would be good to tone the character down (of course, doubt that'll happen unless she has her ass handed to her by Wesker).

(Note, I'm not personally a fan of the films - I'm just saying, could be worse if they were sticking closely to the games' but when taking into consideration the last couple, it isn't that bad).

On the overall, I have to agree with Canas - looks interesting, however I'm not going to have any expectations on it.

Although the Executioner does look pretty cool...

Wesker's hair actually isn't that blonde in the first place in RE5. It's a little faded and darker at the roots, and the hair of the Afterlife Wesker seems to sort of match:

Its strange because Anderson is perfectly capable of making good films. For example Event Horizon is a brilliant film and yet the Resident Evil films arent really that great, even if you aren't a big fan of the series. Dont get me wrong I do enjoy the films to some extent but he could have made them a lot better. I imagine he wanted to exercise his creativity by changing the story around and mixing up the characters

Looks interesting (probably won't fail, take a look at his sales for his other movies. They only increased more as they were released. )

I'm not talking about the commercial success of the movie. That's a given.

I'm not a massive fan of the films (I love the first, the second and third and pretty meh but have good moments in them) but some of these pictures are very exciting. I especially love the glasses one. On of my favourite scenes in 5 homaged in the film! Fantastic. (And with Claire! Although film Claire is nothing like Game Claire, I still love Ali Larter).

I think The Executioner looks a little silly though. Better than Nemesis did but still silly looking. Hopefully we see him during the trailer, he might look better when moving.

Wesker v. The Redfields means absolutely nothing to me in this movie because they have zero history together. In the games, it was Chris's history with Wesker that deserved an EPIC ending(which we didn't get). I bet they'll try to concoct some sort of bullshit backstory between Chris and Wesker in the movie, only to have Chris and Claire get incapacitated and force Super Alice to save the day again.

So there is a zombie outbreak and then the executioner shows up out of nowhere because Paul Anderson thinks that would be cool?
And this movies isn't gonna be the Redfields vs Wesker... it's going to be Alice vs Wesker. I wouldn't be surprised if Wesker and Chris don't even know eachother in this movie.

As with the other movies, Chris will most likely only have a passing resemblance to the character in terms of personality and motivation (not to mention appearance...) and will not be terribly important. He'll get a couple of moments of interest, but with the Wesker VS Redfield scene the most likely outcome is that Wesker beats the snot out of them until Alice comes to the rescue, possibly with Alice and Alice as back up.

Seriously. I hate those fucking clones. They can't just ignore them but anything they add into the story about them will make it even more shit. Because for me, the biggest flaw with the story has been the huge over focus on Alice. You can have a main character that doesn't have the whole movie revolve around her, all threads wrapped into hers, all characters either killed by her or saved by her...and now there are multiples? This does not bode well for me.
