Most likely she'll have a very little role compare to Alice, Chris, Claire, Wesker. Probably she'll be "kicking" some "zombie" butt or sometime like that, which was something she did'nt do at all in the last film.
I don't think you'd be saying the same thing if you

Spoiler:
saw her outfit for the movie.
The Spoiler:
experiment outfit? That, coupled with the weird P30-looking prop intrigues me. Seems like she's going to have an RE5Jill-esque experience. Not that I don't mind.
As for the interview posted earlier, can somebody give some details of it (spoiler tags if necessary)? My compy is glitching and the link is hating me. D:<

I'm quite Spoiler:
suprised that K-Mart is going to get the Jill Valentine treatment. I'm hoping that it doesn't end badly with her dying (which is doubtful, seeing as she's so young, but then again, look at Angie ). I'm hoping that it can be the sign that we'll see plenty of K-Mart in the film.
People haven't seen the movie yet, so I highly doubt we should start the complain train. But then again, what do you expect from a bunch of Capcom purists?

lolwut? I think many mature members of this forum have stated many times that their dislike of the movie doesn't stem from the fact that it is ruining the game, but rather because the movies themselves are very poorly made.
At least four examples in this thread alone about technical, plot, etc. issues people have that rarely touch Game - Movie connections. Anderson doesn't add anything new to these films, and yet he and others honestly believe these films to be groundbreaking. The first movie was the only one to provide a sense of horror. Now, its all about super magical powers and adding that stupid ass slow down in action scenes. That was cool...when it was first done years ago. We've progressed well beyond that now.
Stop trying to group everyone that has an issue with the movies togther as "purists" or whatever bullshit. And as I've said before...everyone makes judgements about things before they fully experience it. People are simply comparing what they are being told they are going to get (movie trailer, recent interviews) with what they have gotten in the past.

BUT TEH SLOW MOTION IS SSSOOOOOOOOOOOO CCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!!!!!!!ONE111!!!1
^ Although I love the films with all my heart, I too agree that building scene was truly atrocious. Sure, for a quick second it was cool and all, but it had no point [well, it did, taking out the sniper and having to make it to the chopper in time]. No point, as in, they could have done the scene differently. It seemed as though that scene was shoved in there just to look cool (in which it probably was).

Honestly, you can quit your little bitchfest you got going on, because I have the right to express feelings I want to. I'm plenty aware that people are going to judge a game before they play it, and I'm damn sure they do the same thing with movies. People are quick to judge on the internet, because there is no grey line. There's nothing that people can't / won't say. If I consider you a Capcom purist, I think I'll believe you're a Capcom purist if I damn well want to.
The movies themselves, obviously, shouldn't be seen as Resident Evil: The Game movies. And quite honestly, I dont' think there was ever really an intention to do that. A bajillion people have said it before, and it is barely sinking in. The movies aren't meant to be seen as "Resident Evil" movies except for obscure refrences, characters, locations, enemies, etc etc. The story itself, is an abomination of the continuity.
The slow-motion scene's are going to be in every single action movie in today's cinema. People like super dramatic hairflips, and things of that nature. That's fine that you're not all for that. I'm not saying that your opinion is wrong/right. I'm saying that I have an opinion that differs from others.
I tend to actually wait, and watch the movie / play the game when it's released. And if the commotion that people ae causing over it turns out to be true? Kudos. Until then, I honestly dont' see a point in stating that the movie is going to be lackluster. From the trailer and 11 picture's we've been given, the movie doesn't look bad at all. So, until we can get a more in-depth look of the movie, I will not say that the movie is going to suck cock and balls when I'm pretty sure that it's going to be a good flick to see. Respect my opinion, I won't say shit about yours. Kapeesh?

For you maybe.
This one trailer and 11 pictures show me that this will be another movie similar to Apocalypse and Extinction, with forced references to the games, too much Alice, lack of atmosphere, nonsensical plot, too many slow-mo action/fighting scenes etc. The promotional materials we now have show that this will be more of the same, only in 3D. And since I didn't like the second and third movie (I've already said why), why shouldn't I be worried about this movie. I was optimistic about Apocalypse, it failed me. I was cautiously optimistic about Extinction, it failed me. Right now I rather be pessimistic about the movie instead.

A bit rich to tell someone to quit their little bitchfest, and then finish by asking them to respect your opinion, all while making nonsensical arguments in between.
