I’m a bit surprise to see that many more people “like” to comment about the RE movies, than those how comment on something about the games. I think the majority of the people here, don’t have a positive point of view about the movies, since we are fans of the games; I remember sometime ago, a friend asked me if I had seen the RE Apocalypse, and I was like “yeahh, I’m big fan of the games” , and he was like “ohhh, there’s a game?” ; and he thought the movie was good.

Well, there are different ways of finding out about a game. May it be through cinima, TV or games magazine.
But i know what you mean.

I remember the first time i got into it. I saw a 5 minute special on RE3 on TV when i was like...10 or something. Thats when i first got into the game.

I dont know about everyone else but I enjoyed Degeneration. Leon's character was abit dry but overall it was decent. I could definatley watch Degeneration again. Can only stomach Andersons films the one time.

I honestly thought Degeneration was kinda hollow. Like a really good tasting pastry without a good filling (lol, bad experiences). I mean, the nostalgia was absolutely amazing, like, "Holy fuck wow!" But, it left me kinda disappointed. I don't know, I mean, I enjoy RE movies that are very action-y and stuff like that (like the RE movies and Degeneration), but what makes me disappointed less in the RE movies is that it has no real direct, canon connection or influence to the games (oh... wait... D:< oh no! keep them separated, goddammit PLEASE!!!), whereas Degeneration did. It was good for what it was, I'll admit that, but imo there could have been more done to the story.

I remember..i think it was the commentary for Extinction..that they said they tried to get the same red hair color for Claire like she has in the game.

After this movie, if they are to continue they need to just start over. Get rid of Alice and maybe have something original. The first movie was good in a way as it was it was it's own original story, just with Umbrella. Maybe Sony can get a deceit writer to come up with a fresh story line.
