Homecoming was a decent game but not a good SH in my opinion. Anyway, I lost interest on the franchise long time ago, but if is good I will buy it.

if it's like SH:H I think I'll like it, I thought it was a great game, but if it is another reboot, like SH:SM I'll most likely hate it, we'll have to wait and see; but I'm really happy about this, I though they were going to leave the franchise

              Shattered Memories: 2.
Rofl. I hope atleast they don't fuck up this game.
Though SM was succesful and was very fun, I'm very meh about this.
Homecoming wasn't very good, and I hope they don't continue it.

It's a new developer, so that either means distinct from Climax (DH is a possibility) or distinct from both Climax and DH. Here's hoping these people have some fucking funding. Homecoming had disgraceful graphics for the series and generation.

Oh well, with a new developer I'm keeping an open mind. The now freelance Yamaoka will hopefully contribute.

According with Gamasutra the game is developed by Vatra Games, a new Czech studio of the Kuju Entertainment.

At first I was sad that it isn't Climax UK, but then again, an easter-european studio might not be a bad idea. After all it might be something completely new when it comes to atmosphere (just take a look at Russian "The Void" or "Pathologic"), so for now I'm cautiously excited.

I still won't pass judgment on the developers being rather unknown, but I am excited. Honestly, I've enjoyed every entry in the series thus far. Sure, some less than others, but I didn't particularly hate any of them.

The only thing I'm worried about is the lack of Akira Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (probably). D:

                            yeah heres the other link

There's a new Silent Hill game in the works at a new developer and it's coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation and PC. Beyond that details on the next entry in Konami's psychological horror series are hazy. Wait, foggy.

Every website reports that it's for the PC as well, so you should edit the title and body
