New Resident Evil game: Resident Evil Revelations for Nintendo's new 3DS!
"Oh, and Resident Evil Revelations? It was just video that you could zoom in and out and turn the camera that simply slid the video around. It wasn't being generated on the 3DS in realtime, guaranteed. "
So you mean to tell me that people are still trying to not accept that the woman in the screenshots is Jill Valentine? I've seen people outright say it is definitely NOT her, or that the woman is Claire, or even a skin-bleached Sheva. Haha. This is despite the fact that the woman wears the same BSAA attire that Jill did in the RE5 flashback & LIN & the RE5 promotional artwork, and the figurine section of the game itself. Not to mention that it has been stressed that blue is Jill's color, much like green is Chris's. And the woman in the shots has brown hair worn in the same manner as Jill in RE5.
What's bizarre is that people would accept Sheva dying her skin color, yet find it unthinkable for Jill to dye her hair back to its original color after losing the follicle pigmentation during her confinement. (If this story indeed takes place post-RE5.)
Then again, this is the same community which had people believing that this guy was Billy sans (huge) tribal tattoo and mullet:
And that, upon the first showing of this image, it was Claire with an extreme tan and ethnic jewelry:
I was going to by the new PSP bundle with the new Metal Gear Solid hoping that RE portable would be announced. Now I think I will just wait until more is revealed. Looks like Nintendo got the project.
Well after reading all of this I will have to play Resident Evil for sure. But should I start all the way at the start or just the last one? I was not big on games untill I got laid off work so I have a lot of chaching up to do.
^There's a lot of reoccurring plot elements, characters and such in the various games in the franchise, but you don't really have to have played the previous ones to jump in. All games have had stories that works perfectly fine stand alone, whilst also doing an okay job at ensuring that you at least get informed/reminded of anything important that may have been brought over from one of the previous games.
