Based entirely on the similar body shape/structure 'n' hair seen in that one picture, I believe.
Wouldn't say it's an unlikely story approach, though. Unless we're dealing with a shape shifter or an epic story about cosmetic surgery or how Chris Redfield's adopted and really a Wesker child or something stupid like that

Oh the possibilities.
is the "clone" chris in a stasis tube? i swear i can see bubbles yet it looks like he is sitting in a chair. Maybe my eyes just aren't what they used to be
Basically Jill enters a room where a guy (he first thought it was Chris) is tied up sitting on a chair. Chris enters the same room and that's when they point their guns at each other. Probably because they got scared and thought it was someone else.
He also confirmed that the scene was running in real time. It wasn't pre-rendered.Last edited by Pikminister; 06-16-2010, 06:07 AM.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Smiley and I were talking about it, thing is BSAA Jill's outfit never had a black skivvy underneath - so taking a leaf out of my Mother's book, it could be to cover scarring from the chest device and Jill's hair looks like it's got some slight blonde underlights in contrast to the RE5 BSAA textures being pure brown even under lighting it stands out too much.
The textures look like a mixture of the B.S.A.A. & Battlesuit Jill...
Spoiler:
It could be a clone, but if it's Jill then having her dye her hair back and have the skivvy to hide the scars would logically make sense.
Spoiler:
Anyway, it could make sense if it was in Jill's conciousness but they haven't really tried that since Gun Survivor 2 - CODE: Veronica with Claire's nightmare...
As for the Chris clone and other Chris, Smiley said he has no comment on it. 2 Chris, 1 Jill. No wonder she's pointing a gun at both of them!
Of course, there could be another answer to it... the B.O.W. from Gaiden, Dr. Cameron from 4D-E... both of which are shapeshifters (unless that one from Gaiden does turn out to be Cameron herself as we never find out what actually happens after she escapes from Raccoon nor what that B.O.W.'s origin that I can recall...)

Digital Foundry's on the job
Resident Evil
Quote:What impresses here is that it looks as though Capcom has tried to scale back its Resident Evil 5 models to work on the 3DS. While backgrounds are very simplistic, those player models are astonishingly well-realised and very good-looking. The fact that the Chris Redfield model is readily recognisable from his HD adventures speaks for itself.
