Ok abit random to me this irrelevant to a useless update
Random. What an irrelevant post. Just stay quiet if you don't care and think it's a useless update. Many fans enjoy the beta material, these updates are partly meant to show some interesting things and what's to come in eventual full features. Sorry you find it irrelevant, but we're not meant to be a mainstream RE news-only site, so things like this will be posted.
Yeah this is the concept art I was thinking of. Seems the guy in the concept here is younger than I remembered though, but that's ok.
Nice findings! This looks like Spencer's early concept design. RE 3.5 apparently was set in Spencer's Estate (at least by comparing the buildings in Lost In Nightmares which look exactly like some of the 3.5 trailers). Then when that version was ditched, they reused the model's face for Saddler.
This is cool, I do see lorenzo and saddlers similarities now. That's Capcom for you. hmm, we may be closer to the 1.5 section soon. I wonder how that's going along.
It really does continue to suggest that the designs spawned for DMC, as well as Demento during the RE4 production that the older male figures were all based off the initial concept for Spencer.
Since there's been some Devil May Cry concept art posted - here's some of the Demento ones (concept art, and a scan from the Demento OST) from my site for good measure (images are in the spoiler tag as to not cause lag OR spoil those who haven't played Demento).
The patterns on some of the Lorenzo concept images are somewhat similar to the recreation Enrico has made (though, the ones on the concept weren't used on the final textures and there are some more floating about if I recall correctly).
(Sorry for any doubles, or page stretching - too lazy to match the sizes).
Spoiler:
Although, the in-game portraits (sorry - the quality sucks as I haven't been able to get the environment textures out in working order yet) have a supporting outfit design to it I suppose (final one has a cravat tucked away and embroidery is across all of them).
Spoiler:
Other than that, interesting stuff. Though, I do wonder if there's more to follow this one.
