  • TGS 2010 : Dead Rising "Case West" Announced

Breaking news out of Capcom's TGS press event happening right now, Inafune just announced Dead Rising 2 "Case West", which serves as the epilogue to Case Zero's prologue status. It will take place after the events of Dead Rising 2 and will feature both Frank West and Chuck. This epilogue is exclusive to the Xbox 360 too according to Inafune.

On a somewhat unrelated note, Capcom has apparently purchased Blue Castle studio's now and it'll serve as Capcom's Vancouver studio now.

    *** Update 2 ***

The teaser trailer for Case West can now be seen at this link. The official website has also gone up here.

It's a great move, in my opinion. I think Blue Castle has something special.

Daddy knowing his way around a zombie or two and Frank havin' covered wars, I guess together they can fix anything.

So let me get this straight.

They, or he, want DR to beat RE/RE5 sales, and their plan is to start with making DR exclusive to 360?

Yeah, good luck with that (as if it ever had a chance anyways).

Learn to differentiate between the main game, and downloadable episodes.

I'll just re-iterate what i've said previously...if you think Case Zero, and now Case West will be X-Box exclusive forever, you're too naive to go near video gaming.

Dead Rising is a popular series too, although I must admit...don't really understand the drive behind Case Zero and Case West being exclusive to the 360. Other than Capcom getting ungoldly sums of cash from Microsoft, I mean.

I would've gotten Case Zero if I wouldn't live in such a crappy country in where it is forbidden to download it and I haven't found no easy way to get a UK or US account to access game contents. Why can't they just share the content between PS3 and XBOX360 ?!?

Is this actually a full game? Does this mean there are 2 other games that will be announced?
