I know it's the immediate reaction to say Microsoft have ponied up loads of cash for the deal...but it could always be Capcom's call? Perhaps they saw some sort of occurance within RE5 and RE5's Gold Edition's sales and they're testing the water to see how a complete edition of a game sells when it launches well after a vanilla version of a game?

'Something special' seems more like some esclusive skins or weapons, at least for me...not being denied the stories Prologue and Epilogue. I mean, usually I grab multiplatform releases on the PS3. I find it to be the more stable platform. Obviously, this one's going on the 360. This has got to hurt the PS3 game sales a lot.

I would've gotten Case Zero if I wouldn't live in such a crappy country in where it is forbidden to download it and I haven't found no easy way to get a UK or US account to access game contents.

Same thing hapened to me! though in my case: I bought it!! and the f***** charged me the 400 MP, but when it reaches 99% it says: download stoped
Anyone here knows a way I can bypas this? I know it has to do with something of the IP

From that teaser trailer it appears that the main issue in DR2 ( Chuck being accused of causing the outbreak in Fortune City) is not even resolved in the game.
Granted that Case 0 is nothing but a demo considering there's no exclusive story in it this might be another case.
I'm surely not going to buy DR2 now. I'll wait and see if we eventually get the full game on PS3 or not.

What I've basically learned from the whole ranting about platform exclusivity is:

1. Resident Evil should have every single entry on one single platform.

2. Terminator 2 is a pretty shitty and incomplete movie if you don't get to see what first happened in Terminator 1 and how it supposedly "ends" in Terminator 3 (let's not enter Salvation or Sarah Connor Chronicles territory)

The PC version comes with Microsoft's GFWL and the DLCs are 360-exclusive instead of 360 & PC? This is another blasphemy by MS and yet another reason to boycott GFWL as it is completely useless.

I don't know much on this subject, but don't you need a proxy to fix this? The other thing you could do is download the file from the internet, transfer it to a USB stick via Modio or some software like that and then see if it shows as the full version (it should since you have already bought it, and the DRM is set on your console and gamertag).

Anyway I'm happy for this news, more SEXY ZOMBIE KILLING TIME! Let's hope this is out by the time I've finished DR2 (which will be pretty soon LOL)...

Yeah, I don't understand what the point of bringing Dead Rising to the PS3 was if they're going to have all this other exclusive stuff other than the the obvious incentive of extra money from Microsoft.

Regardless, I purchased Case Zero, enjoyed it, and will likely get this too.

Honestly.

This "paid demo" bullcrap needs to stop .. it's exclusive content and story (albeit small) that ISN'T going to be available anyhow else.
