After watching this spot on an HD recording of AOTS, I honestly think that it's Chris. Why? No idea. That's stupid. But based on how the shadowy figure appears to be, and how his eyes look (What can be seen of them, anyway) it's Chris before the steroid treatmant.

It's obviously a male, and probably the perpetrator of the outbreak. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a completely new character, either... Much like Curtis in Degeneration.

I disagree entirely. These CG movies are a great chance to wrap up loose ends for characters that normally wouldn't get any airtime in a spin-off game. The only issue is, Capcom keeps using Super-Leon and declines to delve into characters like Rebecca or Barry or Sherry. Instead, they get shoved further back into the closet and the Leon Action Figure gets prime shelf-space once again.

Well, what can I say, it was a good teaser imo. Maybe because I liked the first movie, that, comparing to Andersons shit looks like a masterpiece. I liked Lickers, there is nothing wrong with the way they sound. And I was also hoping for the new awesome jacket of awesomenes for Leon.
About the new mystery guy, well, it's a male for sure. I think I'am gona go with Chris or a brand new character here.

I agree with that. They have the chance to wrap them up. Like you said, they misuse it.

Hence, Capcom should stick to games.
