  • Resident Evil 4 PC - Released in Taiwan?

It appears Resident Evil 4 PC is either released, or on the verge of being released in Taiwan. Some pictures of the game have popped up on a Chinese message board. It appears the game is running in low settings, but one thing is clear, the Character model textures are considerably higher than on the PS2 or Gamecube versions. You can check out the screens here and here.

According to sources, heres the information obtained so far:

    - No mouse support
    - Cutscene equal to PS2 version (640x480 movie)
    - Only resolution option (AA and AF not supported, maybe by forcing it through ATI/Nvidia driver)
    - The game is in english
    - Frame limiter in 60 fps
    - X360 joypad support (others too)
    Thanks to Mr_Zombie at bioflames!

The only link I could access here at work is the second, in which the gameplay pic didn't look all that great to me. Interesting news nonetheless.

it looks like a brighter ps2 version to me, nothing on the GC version though.

Ugh awful comparison, Ill try to do one whenever the hell I can get my hands on the pc ver but like I said, some people arent remembering the PS2 or GCN graphics as bad as they are.

Those graphics look painful to my eyes ;_; lol.

I'm sure it'll be better on a higher setting...

Why didn't they take the time to make the game look the best on the PC Version? Then Capcom could've gotten us to buy it for a third time? :p
