Im not sure how this got under the radar but the game has indeed been released. Warez groups already got ahold of it and I did as well. Doing a quick comparison reveals that it looks a hell of a lot better than the PS2 version and thanks to the higher resolution textures and resolution itself but the game still is a port of the PS2 version. It comes complete with PS2 level geometry and models as well as lighting.
Ill do some more testing but you can view the differences below by mousing over the images.
GCN (displayed) vs PC (mouse over)
PS2 (displayed) vs PC (mouse over)
Ignore the difference in brightness, different capture methods were used.
I took a few shots from the first area, they can give you an idea of what the game looks like on a high end PC. 8xAA, Super Sampling and 16X AF were applied. Click the picture below to open fullsize 1680x924 shots. Even at this resolution and these settings (forced via nvidia control panel) the game ran smooth as butter.
Thanks to Orin at Bioflames for giving me the heads up!
Update: Modifying the resolutions is very simple, just edit the SetupTool.ini file. 1920x1080 is working in fullscreen mode ;)
