I dont like Milla as an actress you can say all you want about Joan of Arc but one movie doesnt make a a good actress at least not in my book.
What I do hate is his hypocrisy the constant contradictions she says. Fore example lately here in Argentina Universal Channel is constantly airing a little show in his commercial breaks about videogames movies where they mention the RE movies and she says "yeah the movies are EXACTLY like the game"...

and yeah i know this maybe is the typical actor thing "i say anything to sell the movie" but well this bother me because that kind of things(interviews and stuff) always appears on RE sites where i am.

Besides if you a rich and famous(or something like that) i think that some internet hate is a very low price

What are you on about "a post related to the topic"? The topic is about Milla's comments on fanboys wishing her dead, and then we have fanboys in this topic wishing her dead. I don't see how much more "on topic" me and MarkGrass could have been. Joan of Arc shows that she can act if she is given a decent enough part which requires her to act. The RE movies don't. Just because the RE movies have her jumping over lasers, shooting zombies and saying cheesy lines doesn't mean she can't act. Have you ever seen the film, out of curiousity? How do you think it'd make a male actor look if suddenly he played the part of Leon in RE4, jumping around spouting cheesy one-liners? It's very well paid work, of course she is going to take it, whether it makes 0.5% of the population who are RE fanboys dislike her or not.

P.S I don't love Milla. I just think she is a good actress, I enjoy her performance in films and I think it is retarded to hate an actress just because of her role in a film series of the same name as a game franchise which is a completely separate canon universe.

The thing that bothers me the most, is that while they said that they "took her powers away", she was still pulling off superhuman feats with the exception of her mental powers. So for them to say she was normal is laughable at best. Of course then they come up with the whole "well it didn't take all her powers blah blah". Just registered and wanted to say the movies are A+ in magical fairy garbage land.

I play all types of games and watch all types of movies, and was young when the first movie came out. As much as I tried to like it....there was just some serious stank stemming from forced creativity that was more likely to have been drained from a sewage tank in Resident Evil 2 (yes, that would be a canon sewage tank, lol).

I thought this thread was interesting and I got some insight into why the movies are so horrible, so I wanted to respond. What I wish...is that Capcom would have never given Hollywood the rights to an amazing survival-horror series in the first place. Then no one could complain and I wouldn't have nightmares about how I wish the movies would have turned out.

Seems like Hollywood is churning out a lot of garbage these days. Milla is an OK actress to me, but her reputation is soiled from these shitty movies. She could shine if she could get away from it.

I don't think that real Milla is that stupid to say like "write your own script,the better script".
Everyone who ever interested about "how to write scenario" knows that professional script writers were studying to became script writers for years.
To write a real script is not that easy as to write a detailed game walkthrough with pictures,tricks secrets.
To become a professional script writer (i don't say "good script writer" or "sucessful scriptwriter" - just to be able to write real "working" script) is the same hard as,for example, to become a programmer.
To say like "write your own script,the better script" is the same as "Look, i can write a script and you can't".Even Uwe Boll can say things like that but you know what i mean(sorry to all of his fans here)
