I think your arguements are rather ill-founded. Considering that Mercenaries 3D is using the same assets as RE5, there's no point in releasing anything like it on the PS3/X360. Unless what you're asking for is a patch to bring 3D to RE5, like Sony did with WipEout HD.

I'm not a huge fan of handhelds myself, but I think it's nice to give people an opportunity to play Mercenaries on the go. Wesker has used martial arts since around RE4, I believe. That's when they introduced it.

Back on topic - liked the trailer. Loved seeing Jill and Wesker in RE4 locales. Sets it aside from just being a port of the Mercs modes of RE4 & 5. However, i still may wait until Revelations is released and pick up a copy of that, this and a 3DS then.

Releasing this on consoles is pointless, 90% of it is already in RE5 and with RE4 releasing what will this offer exactly? Claire? Well that certainly warrants a HD port.

We have Merc in RE5, yes. But this is different if you haven't noticed. As for OTHER people... Those are N3DS noobs for whom it's the first console. I could care less about em.

It's natural to want this in HD, not in 3D but with sub 250p.

We have PS3 + HD + LPCM full surround sound, yet they use inferior shitware to make new RE games. Let alone this on PC/360/PS3 would sell 300 times better, especially Merc. Screams for DLC release.
