Resident Evil : Revelations Releasing in 2012

Though the game was never given an official release date, many assumed Revelations was coming along nicely as a 2011 release. Capcom's official Facebook page has recently put up some new concept art and cited the release date for the game as 2012. No official word whether this is a global confirmation of a 2012 release or whether Japan will get it earlier.

Makes sense, the dev team has mentioned that the game is only 30% complete.

Capcom did previously say fall 2011. With Mercs 3D said as spring, so I guess both got pushed back.

We were this saturday in Madrid and Koch Media (Spanish distributor of Capcom) told us possibly the game comes out in March next year.

I don't mind Revelations releasing in 2012, assuming that it will release 1st or 2nd quarter. Having to wait until the winter of 2012 would suck.

But forget about the release date, I wish they would release some new high quality screenshots and another video. I want to see more of the game.

The only reason I was going to consider buying a 3DS was to play Rev. Mercs was just a bonus so think I will definatley wait until Rev is released hopefully there will be abit of a price drop by then.

Yeah i'll be getting mine when Mercs 3D is out, the Revelations demo pretty much sealed the deal for me.
