Better?
I like the way you think.Last edited by REmaster; 04-13-2011, 02:47 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

Leon, rookie cop, first day on the job, automatically the main target. So lame.
It's almost like they are playing on the fact that we know about the future, and are using that to make Leon important. Unless the USS team are time travelers and see what Leon did in RE4 and DSC, there is no reason why Leon is the main target.
I really hope they explain this. Because I have a feeling that they have no intention of doing that.
Someone should get this question to them in an interview.
Yeah, I know people are explaining it with the fact that they're hunting down all cops, but the "I found the target" line also bugs me.
Without time travel involved though, my best guesses are
- The game spans through multiple periods like outbreak. The 'shoot any police officers' line occurs earlier throughout the week. On the 29th Umbrella realized there's supposed to be a new recruit entering town and didn't want to risk him finding anything (even if it was a very small risk, killing one guy doesn't seem like it would be too much trouble).
- They've mistaken him for someone else. Remember that backseat zombie in RE2? Hell maybe that zombie used to be an actual threat to Umbrella and they didn't realize he's now a zombie.
- A total retcon of why Leon is in town.
Actually this wouldn't surprise me. It's still weird how the outbreak could have been going on for a week without Leon and Claire hearing something about it or how they even got into the middle of the city before realizing something was wrong (so they just happened to take the ONE road that wasn't covered in blood and destroyed vehicles?).
If anything, what still bugs me about RE: DC and this game is that they show them just casually strolling into the city when it looks like half the city is on fire.
Not to mention the whole military barricade thing that was brought up in RE3 and Outbreak but there's no explanation about how they got around it without fan speculation ("They took the side roads and the military only blocked the main roads" is a terrible explanation, sorry.)Last edited by JcFFx; 04-13-2011, 03:40 PM.

Or we should expect the game sometime 2012.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."
