like they're doing with The Mercenaries 3D? I think they should stick with that type of control (unless that too doesn't have over shoulder aiming o,o?)

EDIT: Just read the wiki for that one, and it is optional, phew lol. I dont think I'd be able to handle FPS at all

And don't forget to buy Resident Evil The Mercenaries Super Special Edition in 2013 with a whole new map!"
Quoted for the sheer hilarity that ensued after I read this. I laughed so hard at this because it's damn near the exact truth now days. You get a game released, then they release all the DLC for it, then after that they bundle the DLC and re-release it. And on top of that they re-re-release the game as a Gold, Alternative or GoTY edition with everything bundled into one little pretty package. And as much as you hate to admit it, if there are avid fans they will buy it all...so I say WTF!!!

If it's exclusive FPS aiming then holy shit did Dead Aim do this all first.

That game was a massive preview for the rest of the series, it seems.

You're missing the point. They should make money, of course, otherwise they wouldn't be making games to begin with, but there's a point where they are just exploiting their fans' loyalty to the franchise by making "updates" that could have been in the game since its release.

You think it's perfectly fine to leave content out of a game just to have an excuse to charge for it later? Mercenaries 3D is a game on its own and it seems to barely have more content than the minigame versions.
We're going to shoot in the same stages and all they could add was 1 new character and they didn't even bother to bring back all the veterans.
I don't even like Leon but the excuse for his absence is pure BS.

there is a diference betwen loyalty and stupidity.
You dont buy every single version of the game and then complain about how "they make you" buy it. You wait to the final version and buy it, especially when they already make the "update tactic" in more than one game.

it's funny how people gets offended when someone other than them, make money taking advantage of people stupidity.

So you're saying that people have to assume that some day Capcom will make a updated version of the game and wait until its release? We're talking about Capcom here, I know, but that's still not reasonable.

"Oh yeah, I'm going to wait 2 to 3 years, if they don't release another version then I'll buy it"

That's not how it works, most people can't just wait, they want to play the game now because they really like what they see and they want to play with their friends and online. It's not stupidity, they just want to play and should get the whole package already.

And I'm angry at Capcom making money because I can't? Really? What kind of argument is that? I don't have money to buy the game, or a 3DS even, but it doesn't mean I can't sympathize with people who'll buy the game and will be very pissed if they release an updated version.

I don't think it's stupid to want to play the game when it's released, as that's when it's most relevant. If they update with a newer version of the game you don't have to buy it. And if it's available as DLC you still have a choice to buy or not.

I could care less if Leon isn't in it. And if they release a updated retail version, I probably wont buy that version till a few years down the line, and at that point it's just for the collection.

Why do people always say they "could care less" when what they really mean is they "couldn't care less"?

I've always used it when it IS actually something i care about, but it's still something that's far from being a priority.

Why do people always point out trivial things?
