This off-screen demo footage shows the item scanner in action, a new enemy, and the end of the demo where Jill catches up with Parker and the cutscene that follows.

Jill fans will no doubt be excited to see just how high Jill can kick.

Has anyone during the interviews quizzed Capcom Unity on why the hell they dropped Patricia Lee when she was clearly on board when the first trailer dropped?

And if I had to guess about the story, the Chris Redfields on the ship are not the real Chris Redfields, and the one that is out in the snow probably is, or the real Chris is elsewhere, or possibly being held captive at an antartic base. There are Chris Redfield Clone BOWs all around, and it is Jill's job to kill them all. And these regenators probably have something to do with these clones being produced.

And I don't like that idea, as it leads to what people have discussed about on this forum, which is the possibility of an "Alex" Wesker, a clone of Wesker. If Chris got cloned, then this game is a prelude to Resident Evil 6. Revelations could be setting Resident Evil 6 up for a fight with a clone of Wesker.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was spot on with this.

And if I am, this is the best that they could come up with?

How many times! There are no clones of Wesker. Never have been. Jee-zuz!

They likely wouldn't know.

I remember back when it was revealed D.C. Douglas replaced Richard Waugh on Umbrella Chronicles, the guys on Unity had no clue it had even happened, let alone why.

Exactly and that reason narrowed down to localizing in LA for UC. Even Sally Cahill was replaced for Ada but returned in Darkside Chronicles when her and Alyson Court were the only Canadian VAs to return.

For more random switcheroos Chris in UC is different than the one they have for RE5 onward. Yet Patricia Ja Lee and DC Douglas came back from UC to do RE5. Lee not only did the voice but the physical mocap as well.

What bothers me isn't the need for replacing an actor, but the careless in and out of most of these characters with a new actor. Kinda sad when barely a handful of characters in this series retain their previous voice actors. I suspect Alyson Court's ties with Capcom keep her as a safe lock for the Claire character. But now even Leon is starting to sound different for those that looked at the Operation Raccoon City game play. And the trailer seemed to imply Paul Mercier.

The E3 2007 trailer for RE5 used Chris' VA from Umbrella Chronicles, but he was later changed to Roger Craig Smith, who actually voiced Billy in UC.

And it wasn't Paul Mercier in the first trailer for ORC. The VA was trying to sound like him, but there was a noticeable difference.

You'll see another new enemy, Jill picks up something labeled "Custom Parts" (presumably for a weapon), and oddly, you can't switch weapons using the touchscreen. You have to use the D-pad.

Aw, you guys need to look deeper into the whole Voice Work scene. It pays shit and its not a dependable gig. Thus why these actors try to find better options all the time.

Even D.C. Douglas had to explain this to some kid that thought he was filthy rich (Playing Wesker + working for Capcom= You're RICH BITCH!). The kid was telling Douglas that he needed to give money away to poor ppl.

And its not always Capcom's fault either if they cannot offer a good deal to a particular actor (or working around him/her living out of the US). They have a budget and need to stay within it.

Actually Steve Van Wormer voiced Billy in Umbrella Chronicles. There was a big debate a while back because his site listed Billy as the character in RE5 before he changed it to "Resident Evil Wii".

EDIT: And looking at that demo Jill surprisingly takes waking up in a stranger's bed quite well O.o
