I could see that. But then some PS3 owners would complain about how they don't want to pay for a new handheld just to play a main entry in the series. (Unless Vita games could work on a PS3, which I don't think is the case. Dunno, though.)

Most of these speculations have been so wrong in the past.

Girl in the test tube... everyone thought it was going to be Sherry since it was the only logical choice our minds could come up with, ended up being Jill (though the Bird women was speculated to be jill but did not connect the two together for being the same person.

We all thought Ashley from re4 was going to be Sherry as well... wrong again... Capcom has thrown us into fucking loops time and time again with new characters of whom we thought were someone else.

I feel that Ada never got the bigger part she deserved. I have always wanted a game dedicated to Ada in an older school style of resident evil instead of side/ mini games. Even Ark Thompson got his own game... lol

In regards to Revelations plot I'm of the belief that it is one of Umbrellas rivals the BSAA are investigating, Hunk who seems to be in position to kill Jill doesn't and informs her of some such plan the rival has so she can go ruin it. Parker and the red head are old war buddies or shared a labcoat or whatever, only red went bad.

Wild theory but I guessed quite a bit of RE5s plot or events long before any hint of them in trailers.

I never said Umbrella, I said one of their rivals. Hunk would be working for Spencer I am sure.

Great, now a wild theory is forming in my head: That Alex him/herself decided to set this all up in an attempt to test Jill before informing her of what's going on.

Well, the only remnant we heard of Umbrella coming back was Wesker looking at rebuilding Umbrella himself, but that concept died between RE4 and 5. Spencer was really the last link to Umbrella and he was killed in RE5.
