  • IGN on Resident Evil Revelations Extended Trailer

Apparently there is an extended version of the trailer for Resident Evil Revelations. IGN has written an article to describe the new trailer which you can find at the link below.

TGS: Resident Evil - Deadly Revelations

The video for Biohazard Revelations stage show at TGS2011 has been uploaded by Capcom Channel, which you can view at the link below. It contains gameplay footage, introduction of the characters, and a Japanese version of the old trailer (w/ Japanese voice acting)

Well then, I guess what we saw in that first trailer of this game is still in the story, or so it seems atleast. Well atleast we finally know who was tied up in that chair.

Sounds pretty good actually, and is nice to show how these characters are not "invincible" than how it has been portrayed after Resident Evil 4. Revelations is sounding better each time I hear about it.

Of course we will see it. It just take some time before they released or someone leaked.

It is same situation as with RE5 TGS 2008 "Play God" extended trailer. If I remember correctly Capcom officially released in January 2009.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. I really like that you only have to press X to swipe with your knife now. That was something I had hoped they would do in RE5.

With the ground melee attacks they added in RE5, it really diminished the viability of the knife as a weapon, relegating it more to a tool you only use to open boxes and crates, something that could have easily been accomplished with a simple press of a button (think the melee attacks in other standard third person and first person shooters).

Looking back on it now, before RE5 was released, I remember hoping that the stun rod would actually replace the knife as your melee weapon once you acquired it, or be able to throw grenades without having to equip them, so I'm really liking the secondary weapon option in this game.
