That would work, if he wasn't even more weird. Unless someone expects me to believe that the dude was able to make his own giant axe, or just happened to find one as he wandered the streets (and was smart enough to pick it up - something the other Not Ganado Zombies don't do) someone had to have armed him, at the very least.

I just chalk it up to Anderson's Version of the Rule of Cool and leave it at that.

Wow, that's surprising and it'll be really interesting seeing Rain in the world RE has become. Comparing the first and last movies, the feel of the films have changed so much. RE1 has such a cold, isolated mood while the later ones have become more...fanciful and open? Bringing Rain into the later films is bringing someone from a dark horror film to a 'fun' action flick, and it's weird to think of her meshing with that world. It's going to be interesting to see though...I mean, it couldn't make the movie any better or worse.

I must admit, I loved her too.

I didn't mind the slow motion sequences too much in Afterlife. Sure, I could have done with less of them, but the only one that really bothered me was when Claire was heaving in the showers in slow motion after her fight with the Executioner. Was that supposed to be sexy or something?

There was so much slow motion in that shower scene that I thought my computer having some kind of problem while I was watching it. But nope, it was just an awful directing decision.

Fuck,what am I saying? the entire first RE film was an aliens rip off, the look and feel of the film was molded after 'Aliens'.
