At this point in the movies--using the dragonballs as a plot device to get the old characters back alive would be an improvement to Anderson's usual drivel.

I can't say I'm pleased with the casting of Leon, but that's at face value. Never even heard of the guy. But we'll see. Just bummed it couldn't be Jensen Ackles.

Also I'm starting to suspect something odd here. As stated... yeah, there are a lot of dead characters. I'm starting to be confused... Granted, they might be flashbacks, but something's sounding a bit fishy. Of course I loved Rain and One, so we'll see. I just hope he doesn't try clones again, that obviously didn't work out well with Alice.

See? *gasp* I don't find these movies as perfect as people think I do. I just enjoy them for what they are: summer popcorn action zombie movies.

I never understood the hype for Jensen Ackles as Leon. Same with Christian Bale for Solid Snake.

As for Ackles, I think it's because he's the only one who could really convey the same emotions as Leon. He's cocky, he's ahead of himself sometimes, but on top of that (and this is what makes him a better Leon than Leon) he can be vulnerable. At least if his acting in Supernatural is any indication.

Christian Bale already does Snake's voice in the Batman movies.

And, I guess at least the guy playing Leon actually looks like him, which is more than can be said for most of the actors who portray the video game characters in the movies.

The Metal Gear community. It's always between Viggo Mortensen, Bale, and Hugh Jackman. Though I must say, Jackman resembles BigBoss a bit. Anyone can honestly play Leon's role though. I think the Urb guy can handle him. Almost got the hair :-P

Nah, they already tried having a 'special' child. Took too much attention from Alice and so was never seen again (and in the Novelization? Took a round to the head for daring to be special) so I doubt even her own daughter can be allowed to play a role of such importance.
