She is fine as Jill. Watch the Apocalypse dvd extras to see that she did alot of research into her character. Like the way she stands and holds the gun and walks with the gun. So apart from her script which is out of her control yeah she resembled Jill.

I agree with Wrathborne. The movies made Jill seems like a bitch, though she looked the part. The writing for her character was done very poorly.

Hey mate you dont have to sell me on how bad these movies are. I think they are quite possibly the worst movies ever made. If I wasnt a Resi fan I'd probably still dislike them but not hate them. Hell thats the way it is. If Jovobitch dont like that then maybe she should learn a thing or two about you cant please everyone.

You dont take over one of the biggest gaming franchises in history wether the movie is an instant classic or worse film ever made and not expect backlash. If she believes her shit smells like roses then she is more of a beauty than I thought.

Anyway Im getting off track here, I just want people to know I aint defending these movies. I just think the Jill and Ada casting is the only decent thing to happen in the history of these movies.

Personally it seems everyone these days hate anything RE4 and later. People hate the movies.

Well we must realize that people who have excellent idea's for writing scripts get their idea's stolen all the time and re written for Hollywood's standards. We also must realize that scripts have to be dumb downed for international audiences, not because they aren't smart, but for translation purposes. Another thing to realize is he who buy's the story for a movie control everything to whether or not it will ever make the day light to the shelves. If they made just one Resident Evil movie down to the "T" of how it should be, I would guess it would only appeal to a smaller audience of "us" fans. They have to be expansive and be broad for more people to be interested in these movies. As much as "True" fans hate the movies, they still bring in big $$, obviously enough to keep making them. Obviously there are major loop holes of enemies and the whole post-apocalyptic world, story line and such that we disagree with, but it appeals to a larger audience. It's just the way it is. The first and 2nd film to me was the truest thing to stay close to Resident Evil then the others and I still like those two the best. I still enjoy these movies as a good pop corn flick. Many people of whom haven't played the games seem to enjoy the films. Which would be true because they have nothing to compare it to otherwise and see all the out of place stuff. I can't wait to see the 5th movie and I will enjoy every second of it.
