I simply keep tabs on whatever is discussed on the moderator forum and what plans are being made by the staff, then I report back to my not-so-mysterious superiors.

I'd be more than happy to help out by moderating here, but I'm still fairly new and my post count isn't the highest.
IMO being new and having a limited number of posts shouldn't be a big issue when trying to land a particular position here. However, I think what you need to worry about more, is about being a "Fair and Balanced" user... but not in the Fox News kinda way.
BTW, is Darkmoon a mod? Said user gets my vote if not.
Love it how he tries to get things in order while other admins/users spam like heck or go off-topic on most threads.

Yeah, I'm a mod. Not only am I the last full active member of the first batch of mods on this version of THIA, I was even a mod in the proto-days of yore (around the time of CODE: Veronica's release) when Ice was a name people knew as the admin, rather than simply Dot's WoW minion.
Little known fact - Dot actually won the site from Ice during a 24 hour session of Counter Strike that saw several lesser members explode.
What's qualifies as a "Trusted User"? Someone who's been here an x amount of years? And also, I've been meaning to ask; how does one get a tag line under their name?
